Patience grasshopper....

Jer - quick question...

Looking at my pike are the white spots on it normal? They remind me fungus or scratches BUT they are not, just simple white speckles? Will they go away? Normal? Whats the maturation color pattern of this pike? Will it become more red?

Hmmm, the spots don't seem normal to me bro. More pics please to confirm. BTW Nice Loaches I miss mines. Also where did the Dat go?

More pictures like I told you to take would help out oodles. Doesn't really look normal, more like healed up fight scares or something. Definately not part of its pattern.

How large is it? Depending on size, that may be pretty close to adult coloration. The thing is, there are so many different variants of lents and marms, its really difficult to tell just how much yours is going to color up. Knowing where it was collected from will help out GREATLY. Problem is most people don't pay attention to where their pikes are coming from. LoL

Some of the variants haven't even been kept until fully mature, so tis only a guess as to how much they are going to color up. Generally speaking though, once they hit 14 - 16" they are going to have their full blown adult coloration. Females 'normally' get a more robust belly, which inturn turns a rich reddish/pink color. I said 'normally' because its possible that not all variants do this. ;)

I'd give your girl about another 2" at least. By then she will have probably colored up completely. ;) I'm pretty sure though that at this point, WYSIWYG...
