All the best mate.

Holly cow! Very nice pattern on a top quality looking ray. Should turn out an absolute stunner Richard. Congrats

I'm sorry to hear about the health issues for your mother. Best of luck to her from the MFK family. I would also love to see updated pics of Elton. Amazing ray.

Personally i find this ray to be one of my all time favourites. and yet so simple. very symmetrical. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the kind words and thoughts.
Elton is currently about 9" disc and his girl approx 10". I'm very happy with both of these rays, they each have good sized spots which is a must for me regarding any black ray, these were bred by my good friend Giles (rayrayray)
The pics were taken only a couple of days apart, as you will see in a few of the shots Elton looks grey, this is due to the pics being taken in the dark, Leo's I find can show this instability in base colour up the a disc size of 12", after this they seem to stay a uniform jet black. Personally I love the grey look, reminds me of Henlei, love the Hens too......come to think of it there aint too many ray species I don't admire.

Enjoy the pics!
