Have a 200g with an Oscar, jewel, pleco and a senegal bichir.

I would like to add a few more fish, a few more cichlids preferably.
The oscar is 5 inches,
Jewel is small approx 2 inches
Plec is 10 inches and is a common
The senegal is 6 inches.
I like the look of jaguar cichlids, terrors and dempseys.
Im looking for something aggressive that wont beat up my oscar.
My oscar is a big fat kitten, the jewel is murderer.

Any ideas?

you want something aggressive that wont touch your oscar? what kind of aggressiveness are you wanting. glass banging or.....?

When I say aggression I dont mean Umbee aggression, i'd say the aggression of Convict.
I dont want a convict, all ready have a breeding pair in another tank,
I would've loved the jag but if it would cause trouble then i'll leave it out.
Been thinking about a jd and gt but I think their to common and want something different, but i'll keep them in mind.

Common yes but there is a reason there common both are stunning, i have 3 male superred severums that i am growing out and letting my female pick her mate, i live just north of London so you can come choose 1 of the males she dont pick if you want, i spent 6 months trying to find these and had to travel 4 hours round trip to get them! So they are qyite rare and hard to get hold off and shouldnt bother your Oscar but they can defend themselves

Think im going to add a dempsey, gt and sev, then leave it at that.
Also do you think I could get away with a school of clown loaches or balas?

Sevs are always a great choice w Os, nics can usually work as well

All depends how they turn out prob around 20 there parents wete stunning!

Not sure about the clown loaches they get big and i hear they do best in groups of about 5 or more

Common yes but there is a reason there common both are stunning

Yea but don't you think some common fish are common because they breed easily outside of the wild.
