Also use the Coralife digital with original batteries after a couple of years. Only issue was when it said my tank was at -7 degrees. Pacu taste tested wire.

i now use the stick on tank one as i broke my glass one during a water change (it moved under the flow of water i was putting in the tank went straigt to the bottom hit a stone and broke) only outside glass broke so no nasty leaks in tank

I used to have a digital one, but it slowly went out of wack until it was 15 degrees off. I threw it away and got glass thermometers that now live in the overflows. I now also spot check all the tanks with an infrared thermometer to make sure the glass ones are maintaining accuracy.

Thanks for the info everyone. So far, two thumbs up for Coralife digital. Seems like they would be good since they cater to SW in many areas.

For accuracy get a lab grade thermometer to get base lines for your every day use aquarium thermometer.
