but koi bunched up like that is asking for problems in the longrun

I have no clue when it comes to koi...so just curious why that would be bad.
Which zoo was that bro? Go to the Henry Dorly Zoo in Omaha Nebraska if you want to see some pimp setups!! 
BTW...they have a HUGE pond, several million gallons, lol, there is a bridge going across it and you can throw food down. There are soo many koi they would be ontop of each other OUT of the water!! Like a huge gigantic ball. There were large cats in there as well. They drained it to make dredge it and make it larger, so i don't know when they are gonna restock it...but it was kewl while it lasted!!

Dude no offense but you are pretty critical of other peoples set ups when you yourself have a fish that is obviously too big for its tank. I know you contribute a lot to this site but it would be hard for me to criticize others when I am performing the same wrong doing myself. I think that is the definition of a hypocrite
Both of you watch it. Degrading someone isn't allowed on this site, if you have a prob. with the way Del. is keepin his fish talk to him personally about it with a PM. That slam was uncalled for and unacceptable.
