I know relatively little about snakes in general. I think its cool. I know a lot of people don't like snakes but I respect them and know what an important role they play in their ecosystems.
Is your daughter interested in snakes?
North American watersnakes and most garter snakes are easy,my favorite garter snake is the "flame" variety, very easy to tame

It's funny that I don't care for snakes because in my opinion all they do is sit and wait for food when some of my favorite catfish do the exact same...

She loves snakes. Find them in the yard all the time. My husband and I do battle every now and then because he hates them but I won't let him kill them. Even at the expense of my pond fish. Most dont bother the fish but water snakes will. I keep a snake hook in the shed so I can relocate the ones who stray from the nearby river.

In Missouri I'd carry a bucket when mowing the lawn, I'd always find frogs or snakes,so I'd put em in buckets till I was done mowing.

I used to have contest to see who could catch the biggest snakes, lots of fun

Maybe put the snakes into a massive pit and put some sticks and leaves into it and invite your enemy over redfish? Just a thought....
