I just wanted to post a picture of my favorite T. We got her about 1 1/2 years ago and at the time she was just a little thing. She is just starting to show the pink in the abdomen.

AH! You're holding it! *hides*

Aside from my own irrational fear of all things 8 legged, that looks like a really interesting pet. Very pretty coloring... and it's fuzzy, it almost makes me want to pet it. Can you pet it, or do they bite? Well, I guess they don't bite or you wouldn't be holding it... *facepalm*

How long to they live, how big do they get?

Well, actually here hubby is holding the spider, so that I can take the picture. She was moving all around. But this is one T that we take to our shows and yes I do handle her. They are docile but skittish.

Males can live up to 5 years where females live to 10 years old and they get to be about 4"-5". Females are larger then the males.

She's a beauty! I didn't realize any tarantulas were that metallic; she almost looks like a giant jumping spider.

Okay are you ready for this? This is hubby's list but I know that he is missing one. I'm not sure which one it is.

Although you know I don't like roaches I'm sure a few of the spiders would take a few roaches off your hands. For that fact my beardie really wants to take care of our spider infestation. Everytime he sees us handling them he is right at the glass trying to get one.

im pretty scared of spiders but that one is really cool. just curious wat does the number system mean?
