Oh wow, very sorry for your loss! We got hit by that storm too, luckily we are far enough north than we got more snow than ice and we didn't lose power. Many people within a few miles lost it for 4-5 days though. This was the first bad, widespread power outage since I started keeping fish, and I was just so glad my power stayed on. Of course, with my one measly tank with no monsters to speak of, I would have lost a lot less than you. That really, really sucks you lost all your stock, but at least it gives you a chance to start from scratch again and do exactly what you want.

That is my biggest fear, power outtages. With that many fish, I know that is a huge chunk out of your wallet. If I could ship fish, I would send you some in a heartbeat! I hope all the bad will turn into something good for you:)
 
Sorry about your loss- Understand about traveling for a living its beyond your control- even a backup plans probably wouldn't have helped due to the fact that no one was there to switch over the power supply.
