you should take pictures of these badboys, i don't think i've seen them in months if you have posted some with in the past couple months.

Thank you. I had more trouble keeping a trimac than any other Central American I have ever tried. This is my third one. I thought I lost him about a year ago when he went down the overflow and into the sump.

my midas has only bit me twice, it felt like a super duper hard pinch.
never letting him touch my fangers again. usually i put a net in the tank and he flares up and makes some threatening gestures at me.
do any of these badboys tap the glass?

The red devil in the 55 gallon (the one with the teeth) bangs the glass sometimes but that is the only glass banger I have right now. She never messes with me when I'm doing tank maintenance though. My wife was messing with her one day while she was feeding her and managed to get bit though.
In the 300 and the 210 nobody ever messes with me during maintenance. I wish the dovii would get some courage and start trying to mess with me though.

it would bite dripping glass off the lids and just like swim the glass forever.
he was a mean bugger.
i'd love to own a dovii again, i had one from fry and raised it up to about 8 or 9".
realized he'd be over a foot within just months so i put him in quinns 240 gallon.
i think he still has it possibly?

Must be nice, my dovii is the most shy fish I have ever owned. I've had him since he was about 3", he's getting close to a foot now and just "hides" behind the filter tube all the time.

try putting him with a bunch of your larger cichlids in like a crowded community.
my dovii was very active in a community with fish bigger than him.
