I mentioned this when it was first posted on AP, but the Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum x Oxydoras (formerly Pseudodoras) niger hybrid is unusual in that it is a hybridization of two species from different families. The TSN is a pimelodid cat from the family Pimelodidae, while the ripsaw cat is a doradid cat from the family Doradidae. Weird stuff! I wonder what's going to be next.

Decided to store the tank instead of fix it for now. To console myself for this loss, I ordered a replacement tank with the same 4ft x 3ft footprint, just shorter. And, to make up for the 60 gallon loss of water column, I ordered another 360gal tank for S&G.
