A wise man **JUST** told me. Lol. **ACRYLIC HELP NEEDED** read the whole post**

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have been helping him out on supplies threw text. There are other compounds that are made for clear coat polishing that I have used but the Novus is the best tool for the job. I'm in roofing and construction and have done a lot of vehicle detailing. Its all about having the rite tool for the job. A good buffer and Novus is the rite tool for getting a tank this size done rite. Having the rite tool is the difference between this taking a few hours or a few days and how good the job will look when done.

In terms of a lid(s) for the tank, I'd first ask if you really want or need lids? Unless you're trying to keep something in.

Keeping some jumpers in. Arowana, even fish that don't jump normally will jump at one point or another.

I didn't read the whole thread, but I wanted to leave this here, maybe someone can use it. I've owned a Jeep for over 10 years, and I've used Novus to polish out my soft top windows. This stuff is good. Just do every step. I never used power tools, but for tank I can imagine using a buffer would be nice.

Here's a link to buy the kit, I saw the bottles at an acrylic shop the other day and the were selling them for much more. I don't know how far this kit will go on that big tank though.
