Its quite simple Jim. Once on the pellets you give those first then the prawn after, if they don't eat the pellets its an indication they aint that hungry so try again later, these are intelligent fish, they soon get into the habit of which comes first. Secret is to not give in too easily to their desires, even pups if healthy can manage two or three days without food whilst you try to convert them.
