Well all i can say is i have a Polypterus endlicheri endlicheri which is what people call a monster fish but that`s only beause of the size it gets to and not the fact that it will eat other fish if i put them in with him (which it will)..
Also i think the size of your tank is in question here and quite rightly so.
Your tank and probably wooden shack that you keep it in will limit what you can give your fish in terms of comfort and will therefore become cramped and uncomfortable.
So one day when you ask one of your other primary school friends over to play watch the big fishey you`ll walk in the lounge to see it on the floor having jumped out of the tank. Probably with a bloody great big plackard saying
I know it`s bad on the floor but look at all the room i have!!!!!
If i was you i`d accept constructive critasism from the people in the know and give your fish to someone that will actually give a toss about it and it`s wellbeing..

I've been a member here for ages but never really bothered too much about posting. I'm pleased to say I know several of the members here, particularly two posting here, very well from elsewhere.
In all the years I've been active in fishkeeping and forums elsewhere, both professionally and as a hobbyist, I've never seen a post so pathetically funny.
The only downside is that there is an innocent party here that will, if not already, suffer. I look forward to the teeth growing on that and it deciding that enough is enough.
Please don't close this thread - maybe put a warning at the top of it if necessary.
In the meantime, I'd better go and check up on some more bad language because I'm obviously not up to the high literary levels demonstrated on this thread.
