I mostly agree with this :P every system has ich in it, not the fish, but if the fish are healthy then they don't get infected easily, its when they are stressed that they get sick (ie. moving them form tank to tank).

Yup, its all about the immune system. Hence why you rarely see it in healthy tanks, but big box fish stores that take poor care of their inhabitants (my local petco) have it on their fish, especially powder tangs.

Tangs are more suseptible, due to thin mucus layer. But we are getting off topic lol.
