Agree with fwlion,..Aba,Afer and Carapo,ive kept them all many times over the years.Lets not forget the electric eel here,they are not behind the door when it comes to dishing out the GBH,its one thing getting bitten, which incidentally they will do, but its quite something else finding yourself plugged into the national grid!!!!!
Yes i like them,the movement of them is tremendous! keep them in a dimly lit tank with branches and they make very relaxing subjects,ive kept 3 specimens,some were in excess of 3feet.Common sense is the word,make sure you use a wooden or plastic handled net when moving them,they rarely if ever throw out a serious shock for no reason so ordinary tank maintenance can be carried out .....with care.!!
