ABA ABA KNIFEFISH

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
update... my aba is doing well. active and eating. i've decided to remove 1 filtration pump and make do with 1 2200li/hr. i've put in pebbles as well in the 250gal tank. can i put in a driftwood? worried that it might injure the fish when he's chasing food..

id say no to the pond. dont worry about jumping. worry about the people/children who would try and touch your pond.

aba abas are known to bite of fingers BUT it is not because of aggression its a way of looking if its a food or not. aba abas are almost blind they find food by detecting electric signal/pulse from a potential prey.

for example: when you put your finger in an aba abas tank it generates electric pulse which attracts the aba aba they dont see it as your finger or a feeder all they see is a potential prey so they would take a bite(we all know that their bite is really nasty) and you know whats next. hope it helps.
