What would you attribute to these fish being willing to coexist... with anything else? Good luck with individual personalities? Barbiturates in their kibble? Were they raised together from little? A talent with tall-tales & photoshop? I notice you've got no structure so habitat enrichment isn't the key. I'd love an Aba but can't justify 1000Gallons for one fish.

No they were not raise as little as aba aba was introduced at 18" and lungfish at 9". If this is photoshop this is the best ever photoshoped that was done in the world. Even professional photo editor got nothing to say. Lol!

this tank is bananas! :nilly: JDM for the win!!

Man! that is one awesome tank commxD That must cost a fortune:)

Don't need a thousand gallon tank to house a single Aba, bud

Combatshock, re: tank size:
Theoretically you want the tank to be as wide & deep as the (maximum potential) fish is long, then twice that for tank length to give some swimmin' room, yes?
If so, for a (near enough as) 2m fish you'd want dimensions 2x4x2, or 16,000L... that's 4200 US Gallons. Maybe less depth, but that's still the best part of 2KGal.
Suddenly a pond makes a lot of sense... all the more reason for that swimming-pool conversion I've been pestering the wife about ;)
Though I'd run out of fingers & toes pretty quickly and a cast-iron jock-strap would be in order.
