The difficult part is keeping one alive long enough to reach a good size. ;) My first was about 2", and that didn't last very long, lol. Maybe I'll give it another try, but I'll have to look for one a bit larger, which is difficult around here.
 
he is looking great king, i still have had no luck finding a decent one as yet will keep on looking, does the 700gallon have less fish in ratio to the 300gallon, why do you think he is ok in the 300gallon but not the 700gallon

There are less fish in the 700g tank and with plenty of room and less decoration. It only got cichla, snakeheads, aros and other fiesty south american cichlid. Probably being harass and it's trying to protect itself till to the point that it realized it can over power the other fish and became aggressive. Where in the 375g that no one bothers or challenge him.

Do you have any agrressive fish in the 375g or is he the king of the tank.

My 26" emperor snakehead is the dominant fish in the tank. Second is my. Clown knife. This guys is just third in the rank. No other aggresaive fish except for the red tail giant gouramii
