garlic is used to enhance appetite on picky eaters... your fish needs time to adjust to his new tank..also did you ask the LFS {the store you bought it from} what they were feeding it... that could help you alot...

Good to know. The store had feeders in with him but had only had him for one day so they did not know if he had eaten. Luckily he ate last night.

He is alone is a 75 gallon. The bottom of the tank is bare and there are a few fake plants that he hides in during the day. At night he cruises around like a shark. He has been eating rosies, the occasional goldfish, hikari cichlid pellets and frozen brine shrimp. He has grown over an inch in 4 weeks.
