FINALLY some of my geos have spawned. :headbang2

Two days ago my G. Abalios spawned on top of a clay pot base!!

I recently moved all 12 over to my new 240g with just an fx5. 2 days ago we finished up the plumming to a DIY sump and filled the rest of the tank up with colder water. Also threw in a bunch of blood worms to clear them out of my freezer and what do you know, pretty much instantly my male and female started doing the dirty lol

NICE they are so purdy! I love seeing someone else with adults! One of my females is brooding right now too. :thumbsup: Let me know on what day she releases the the fry. Is this the first spawn for you?
 
my leucosticta pair spawned about a month ago while i was in the process of moving and they ended up swallowing the eggs. they also had an infatuation about the sponge filters bubbles so that may have caused something as well.

both mom and dad abalios were holding eggs. but mom just spit them out to eat so hopefully dad holds on to the rest!
 
Maybe my male is just lazy then, I have never seen him holding. Perfect timing on that vid BTW.
