ABK parasite treatments?

I've had a male MBK for maybe 5yrs, it's always had a fat tummy but it's getting bigger while the animal seems to be getting gaunt.
Is this species safe with the usual parasite treatments?

Recommendations/suggestions/comments?

One pics got the wrong head, but that one gives the better idea of the tummy distention. Fish is eating & active, just this gut & skinniness relative to online photos.

Wow, maybe it’s full of roe if it’s 5 years old. Anthelmintics are pretty gentle. You can try praziquantel

Thought of eggs/gravid early-on, but the wee-willy-thingie points backwards = male.

There's a dose page on MFK, maybe related to clown loach skinny-syndrome?
Dose the whole tank, or soak his food?

Googling - damn, it seems we'd recently given our COVID-stash of equine-Ivermectin to the neighour, though I suppose the apple flavouring wouldn't have been good for the fish

Re. eggs: the fatness never goes down, so those eggs would be 5yrs old.

I’m rather uneducated I’m the area of diseases and such but I’m just thinking out loud. I remember a thread here where a guy did an autopsy on his stingray and I me of the organs was multiple times the size it should have been and you’ve said this bulge has been growing over time. Could it be something similar?
