Thanks kno4te kno4te
Day two: dosed 6ml yesterday AM (as per otehr med & vet's calculations), same again this AM, & will do same again tomorrow unless you tell me my calculations aren't good - your 1gram/100gl might be a whole lot less than the 6ml/25gal I'm giving.

Fish seem Ok, but no dead round/tape worms nor changes to tummy distension.
Skuds seem to be dying, which isn't supposed to happen on this med, but snails are fine. Skuds possibly disappearing/getting eaten, but I'm not seeing it. Remaining skuds are looking a little generally poorly, but they're boom-bust on their best day & never react well to change (added flow, almond leaves & fish)

Knife looks unhappy/uncomfortable, maybe the meds & belly-full of dying worms, maybe the smaller solo-tank after a lifetime of company (guppies aren't very good conversationalists). I've never heard him drum until tonight. He's seeing & chasing kibble but not really hoovering like usual.

Any thoughts on how long it might take to start killing & passing these worms?

Screen-grab from the aquarium med's website, which is 5% rather than the 10% we got from our vet.
The vet said that the medications dose about the same, so 1 tsp/20gal according to this med & website for ~6.5ml in my 25gal. However, ours being 10%, this should be halved... oops.
A day or two off, or continue at 3ml?

Please confirm that this says 1x teaspoon (per 20gal) & then wait 5 days for the all-clear(?)
Or is it saying to dose 1tsp/20gal daily for 5~7days, then wait 3days to repeat a single dose, only as necessary?

Hopefully 5-7 days should start to have the worms die. Believe the dosing is 1 teaspoon for every 20 gallons for 5 to 7 days then repeat once every three days if needed. The goal is to keep a concentration of the med in the aquarium.

And so... Murphy's law: referring to any pet, plant, tree etc as "favourite" is a recipe for disaster.
After all of this, "he" got himself stuck in the sea-sponge decor/habitat & drown. I found "him" before he was even rigored, missed the save my the time it took to make morning coffee. damn..., so it goes. I'd say "lesson learned" but this lesson's a moving target between happily enriched fish husbandry & "hellicoper" safety. I grew-up in the 70s&80s, before helmets & everybody smoking in the car (in winter).

And so, we check:
It seems the provided gendering tells are more guidelines, or our lad simply wasn't the norm as these look more like eggs than worms, though they may be encysted worms/worm-eggs. Thoughts?

Not sure to be honest maybe they were eggs. Sorry for the loss.
