ITs the principle... u either believe in taking a life or not...double standards are so hypocritical

No...

The two are in no way comparable. An innocent fetus that has not harmed anyone is not comparable to punishing someone for wrong doing. You cannot take the context surrounding the situation away.

You obviously care nothing of others.

Other than the fact that it's none of my business, I don't care what people do.

I agree that it should not be used as a form of birth control, but **** happens. The world is already overpopulated and I don't want it being stuffed full of unwanted children that I have to pay for.

If your argument is that god wanted you to have a child, then you should never have surgery to remove a tumor. Apparently he wants you to have cancer too.

To me, an unwated fetus is a parasite. By definition:

Main Entry: par·a·site
Pronunciation: 'per-&-"sIt, 'pa-r&-
Function: noun
Etymology: Middle French, from Latin parasitus, from Greek parasitos, from para- + sitos grain, food
1 : a person who exploits the hospitality of the rich and earns welcome by flattery
2 : an organism living in, with, or on another organism in parasitism
3 : something that resembles a biological parasite in dependence on something else for existence or support without making a useful or adequate return

If you feel that it's murder and someone will go to hell for it, let them go to hell. There is more room for you in heaven that way.

Mind your own damn business.

I think that a license should be required for anyone to have a child. Parents who do not have a license should be aborted themselves.

Copy and pasted from another site:

“Perhaps the most dramatic effect of legalized abortion, however, and one that would take years to reveal itself, was its impact on crime. In the early 1990’s, just as the first cohort of children born after Roe v.Wade was hitting its late teen years – the years during which young men enter their criminal prime – the rate of crime began to fall. What this cohort was missing, of course, were the children who stood the greatest chance of becoming criminals. And the crime rate continued to fall as an entire generation came of age minus the children whose mothers had not wanted to bring a child into the world. Legalized abortion led to less unwantedness; unwantedness leads to high crime; legalized abortion, therefore, led to less crime.”

If you think you’re going to counter their hypothesis with crime drop explanations like innovative police strategies, increased reliance on prisons, changes in crack and other drug markets, aging of the population, tougher gun control laws, strong economy, increased police, all other reasons (capitol punishment, gun buybacks, etc.), be prepared to have your butt handed to you. These guys take each of these reasons and show statistically how irrelevant they are.

Umm....dude, when some guy is named Missy, it is a pretty good indication you are talking to a chick

And ummm...wow, six pages in just over an hour?

Not like anyone is going to read anything other than the first and last, I suppose.

It's a pretty touchy subject for most.
