For babies the fatter the better. It's like little babies w/their baby fat =-) Soon as they get bigger they will get leaner and you can feed less.

I think for baby Pbass it's essential they get their essential nutrients just like that of any baby. Build their immune system, less stress, develop size & girth.

What I love about my (big) PBASS is that I feed them twice a week.

Looking like footballs when grown is another story as I like the look of my pbass lean & slender.

Hahah. Yup - they go through $20 worth of guppies nowdays in half a week. But they are twice the size as when they first arrived, so I'm happy about that. And you are right - nothing wrong with "big boned" fish. lol.

Water changes and lotsa food definately keep these guys happy and healthy. Thats all that matters.

I say that to my wife, too...

I tell my wife that my belly is the representation for the love I have for her. The bigger it gets the more I love her =-) Six packs are for mangina's....a beer gut, now that's all MAN baby.......... but of course I wouldnt mind having a six pack..LOL..ahahahaaha
