Ask:
I have striata farm, in here striata consumable, i never found my striata hars to breed, always easy no need many treatment, and my catfish i brees use injection ovaprim

Now i ask:
Can i use ovaprim for my pulcra? I hv 25 and 24cm pulcra pair, he/she never go breeding, always swim and swim never matings, how about if i use ovaprim, is that save?
How much dosage?
How to use on channa especially dwarf

Thanks in advance

I am also interested in how to apply the ovaprim in channa, because I have applied it several times in channa without success. It does not reach them with a single application, in cyclidos for example a single application is enough, but in channa and piranhas a single dose does not give results, to see if any expert helps us ??

For channas to breed, they need to chose a partner.
Once that happens, you don't need anything to have them breed. Just time and the right conditions.

Channa. Require a bonded pairing to breed as mentioned above striata are tropical so if you have a pair they'll breed ,

Pilchards are subtropicals , in order to produce viable eggs they also require the winter cooldown cycle before females will produce any viable offspring , you cannot use ovaprim to bypass that.

With a pair and proper winter cycle breeding is not a problem

Half the year at temps at the lower end of their tolerance , no water changes , very little food . Then do a large water change , and increase feeding while slowly raising temps over the course of a few weeks.

Good luck!

How to do winter cycle? Can u teach me
