staten island new york
i found a sturgon
he had 2, but he sold one
he is going to bring one to staten island for me

he is looking into getting more for me

btw they are 2-3 inches

im setting up a 5 for them

Very cool, congrats, what kind? My favorites are shovelnose because of thier looks and that they don't quite reach 4' long. Whatever you got If you do it right they might just outlive you, those things get old.

Hard to tell at that size but from the snout I'd guess shovel nose or pallid, the pallid only gets a few inches bigger, reaching 52". Way cool!

Check out this site in U.K., www.sturgeon-web.co.uk , several types of european sturgeon including albino sterlets and siberians that start at $18.50 for 6-8" fish or about $65 for a 24-30" fish.

cool
site
need to ,ove to usa

A 5G is too small for them. Even at the moment. I am not saying this because they grow big, but a 5G has very little water that the NYC summer will surely raise the temp in that tank so fast that it would kill them. Think larger. Maybe a 30G

i only got one
he will be in a 5 till he can locate food better.
then i have a nice 45g and then a 75g for it.
then my lake
im going to mesure the temp all summer and see

we had a few sturgon in our lake
they moved upstream on year tho

my basement doesent get over 70 all summer

in the winter i needed two 300 watt heaters to heat a 90 and barely keep it at 75
