For quick cooling of a small tank you can put a couple of loops of 1/2" plastic tubing into the tank and just run the tubing to and from your cold water tap. I have kept cutthroat trout alive through a heatwave this way. It also helps to add an extra airstone. How are you going to keep this one from heading upstream when the time comes?

Hi guys, my sturgeons kept bobbing up n down the edges of the tank.... Can any kind soul advise what should I do....? Tx a lot....!
So, euro imports, not shovelnose natives? At that size how can you tell? I mean I can see from the snout that they aren't whites or greens, and from the tail that they aren't stellates, but both the pallids and shovelnose look like that when young.
