Hello :)

Been popping onto this website over the years and lusting after most of the setups that I have seen. Finally have signed up and will be asking a lot of advice and soaking up loads of info for the next few months from all who will share.

Have been keeping fish for the last 18 years since I was 10 years old. Got my first tank for my tenth birthday and got hooked!
Eventually I had 11 tanks in my bedroom as a teenager!!! (small ones though with the largest being 4ft).

I have had a space of about 7 years tankless!!! as I moved to england and just diddnt have a stable environment where I could setup a tank and give my fish the stability and lives that they deserve.

Anyways... time has moved on and I am now living comfortably in a house with my girlfriend of two years whoi i recently got hooked on fish aswell.
We bought a 4ft Eheim tank for starters which is setup and looking great and I am now renovating our basement to take a monster tank which I am going to learn how to build (hopefully from all the knowledgeable members of this site ).

I have so far bought 3 baby oscars, a clown knife, a hybrid leopard Synodontis, royal pleco and am growing them up in waiting for my big build downstairs.

Phew! that was a long read... sorry about that... to cut a long story short HELLO everyone... glad to be onboard :D

Thanks mate :)

I just been getting the pics off my phone that I have of my setup and thought that id put some on here to introduce you all to my boys!

I got them in Kent in a garden centre called "Waterworld" on Dilly Wood Lane... In Strood. Its a great shop.. bought pretty much everything there, tank, fish, filters. :)

hey man... i cant wait either... only problem is that im starting from scratch...
Im renovating our basement from a dark, damp un-inhabitable room.... to a sealed plastered room .... after that im gonna buy the glass, build the tank (my first build!!!) sump.... stand... and move em downstairs...

Im not sure of the size yet... obviously i want to go as big as possible.... but that depends on how much i have left after the renovation... and how much the glass is / filters etc....

Im gonna take pictures and post em during... but i doubt theyll be as impressive as some of the other builds ive see on here (50000 gallon tank...damn!!! hehehehe)
