I love my real python, but if I dont keep the water running while I am draining the tank, it would take days or ever weeks to do so, but maybe thats because my sink is "too high in the air" ?....
I use a waterbed drain and fill sink adapter looks like the python adaptor and a garden hose with a peice of clear pvc never had any problems doing it this way for years. Never bought a python but my lfs uses one. Dosn't seem to work any better IMO but i never tested it myself. Just cant see paying 50 plus dallors for something u can get at a hardware store for under 20 dallors and if i need more then 50 ft i just add another hose.
