How fast do they grow? If it will take 2 years till it gets to 7", like my sen. then i should have a 90 to 120 by then.

I've had my sen. for almost 2 years. Got him at around 3" and now just barley 7.5"! What are you feeding and how often??
yeah from what iv read ornates grow fairly fast and would need at least a 120g IMO, and i have 3 sens that i got all around the same time and size (about 3in) about 10months ago, the largest is about 7-8in now, the middle one is about 6in and the smallest one is barely 4in and looks like he has barely grown at all so they all have different growth rates, i would suggest a delhezi bichir if your looking for another bichir, they dont get as large as ornates (can be kept in 55g for a while but should probably be moved up to a 75g eventually) and if you order a wild caught one they have very nice barring and contrasting white/black colors

I think my EBJD had a parasite. I treated it with penecilin(spelling lol). I upgraded to a 75, tryed sand. They hated it!!!!!!!!!!! Big waste of time and effort.
Got new gravel, then all of a sudden, one day, EBJD is back to normal. Between being sick and cramped must have pissed him off lol. Now hes llike my lil dog always beggin for food at top of tank!!!
Also got my ornate. it has already outgrown my senegal!!!
