Atheris squamigera

I like the blue morphs.. very cool. In fact I have a nice print by M. Kern
(Gardens of Eden photography) of a stunning blue morph squam hung up in my room.

do they have a common name or is that the the name they sell them under?

found the name variable bush viper................

and they are awesome..........

and i cant find them for sale.........

:(

Sorry, I have been gone for awhile. Yes, they are called Variable Bush Vipers and you hardly ever see any for sale because those of us who breed them hold on to them. Babies will typically run $250-$500 depending on color though. This female dropped 3 gorgeous babies but unfortunately they were still born. I moved twice since she was bred so the stress associated with the moves is likely the culprit. Oh well, better luck next year.
