I had a 1 inch sheepshead minnow (Cyprinodon variegatus) that killed some small sunfish, a blue gourami and many goldfish including a fat 5 incher. It was absolutely relentless. The ones that were athletic enough to jump 3 inches over the lip died of dehydration, the ones that couldn't were ripped apart.

Really? I used to have sheepshead minnows but I only had them for a week before they croaked so I wasn't able to see their aggressive side.

I caught mine out of a lake so nasty even gar were floating to the bank. Your water must have been too clean. lol
I had also caught the alpha male in the cove. It was chasing everything that moved. I had also brought back some females so that it would keep the bright iridescent blue stripes on its back.

Another vote for the Red Devil. I used to have a large male and he Destroyed anything and everything in his tank. He would also charge the glass and challenge my 100 lb. German Shepherd whenever she walked past the tank.
He got so big that a 55 was not really big enough though.

Gulper catfish, and a flowerhorn, jardini. I don't have any of this, but I was warned, it would be impossible to have any fish to tag along with this line up, though there are successful tryouts it has a considerable amount of dead fish to achieve some swimming fish along with em.
