He already stated his water parameters were fine and the other fish are fine - how do you get to the point of saying his water wasn't cycled? Even if that was true, you also don't need to be so crass about it.
Jags sounds like the option I would go for...But believe me mate, this **** can happen...if even us, Humans die and sometimes suddenly too why can't it happen to fish???.Although it may ocurr, I dont think what happened to you is the common tho.Cheers.
X2. But two week is not enough time for tank to cycle. Cats and common plecos can live in bad water. Shoot I found a pleco on the carpet his skin was dry must have been there an hour or more. Put back in tank and he lived.
^^^^^^ If the tank was just running by two weeks maybe @crazysteve is right....it wasnt enough time for the bacteria colony to comletely form and deal with ammonia, so it is likely that contributed to FH's dead
crazysteve - "He said tank was set up for two weeks"
Two weeks from scratch or two weeks using a starter - like seasoned gravel, seasoned filters, or even water from a tank started already? I have two quarantine tanks that are under two weeks old and fully cycled. He already had previous tanks and was previously running the same type of filters for awhile to, just because this tank is new doesn't mean he didn't use seasoned equipment to start it up, just check his post history and you can see it goes back a long time.
