AC 110 on a 125g?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
nope did not add a single fish grew them all out from around 2" except the senegal which i bought in Aug. and has possibly grown 1"

Gh and Kh are also showing between 0-30 ppm i think? how does that effect my conditions idk if that is good or not.

That doesn't look like algae to me, but I've been wrong before... The "green water" effect is usually more obvious than that. That looks like ammo haze & he said it stinks. Either way, that window need to be put in check ASAP.

ok seems like a simple fix thanks a lot everyone you saved me from buying yet another filter.

So what is the "simple fix" you're referring to? The window or the immature bio-filtration?:screwy:

well i need to keep the tank in the dark for at least a week and hopefully that clears up some of the algae and the water should clear up once the tank has been fully cycled... i am looking at 2 different issues here on being algae and one being an uncycled tank. both are just going to need time and regular tank maintanence. at least that is what i got out of the feedback, and i also need to buy some ammo strips cause even thouhg my nitrates are at 0 i might have an ammo spike

Nitrates at zero is not the sign of a cycled tank.

Check out this link to get a better understanding of the nitrogen cycle;

I stand corrected! Proceed my brutha.

EDIT: You should definitely read up on the nitrogen cycle, but your course of action is good for now.
