would you get two penguin 350's or one ac110 for a 75 gallon aquarium?

Not even a question ;)

i just bought another AC 110 for my 180 tonight. i love them! they are reliable and do a great job with biological and mechanical filtration.

Only problem with ac70s on a 75gal is that most 75s have too large of a lip from the molding to allow an ac70 to fit over it. I ended up having to take tin snips and carve out some of the plastic on the tank to get them to fit. AC110's don't have that problem.

this is a very good point...i had to do the same exact thing. i ended up switching my AC 70 (on the 75 gallon) to an AC 110 as well.

spend the extra 10 bucks and get a 110 the 70 is nice but for large tanks where current is not a huge issue go with a 110

however if you want to filter out silence from your room get a biowheel. They are IMO the number 1 filter at getting rid of silence and tranquility.

definitely AC110s... they are the most easy to use/maintain/clean and they give you the space to put in your own media rather than being forced to buy the model specific media unlike other brands such as Penguins. ACs are also the "quietest" of all HOB filters that I have used.

I recently purchased an AC110 as supplemental filtration for my 220g. It works great.

However, I also purchased an AC 50 for my 29g and it's noisy as all hell. What gives?

Overall, I find that the AC's do a fine job.

Another vote for the AC110's.

I have one on my 125 and just added a second one to my 55.
