That's how I have one of my AC110's setup, but I threw all my bio media in a mesh bag. Yours looks like it will be a PITA when it comes time to clean or change that sponge with all that loose media.

Im going to put it in a media bag. I bought 4 12" by 4" media bags. And they were not big enough for the media to fit in there flush it was all bulky with alot of bypass erea and that would be a waste of time to use them. I wont have to wory about this sponge getting clogged any ways. Because i have a filstar II pre filter on the intake. But i agree about it being a pain to take it all out.
