You know, the AC series is a great quality unit, except for that tube. Its just cheesy & feels/looks cheapo. I dont know how I would make it better, though...
I already got the new u-tube and it is working fine. I had to talk them into sending me the piece. It was for a classroom aquarium filter and I think that is why they sent it.
I agree they need to come up with a new design for this part. After seeing this I noticed how much it really sucks ( no pun intended).
