AC110s and snails don't mix

Another topic about a snail and an AC110 http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140599 It does happen.

The fish that this happened to were zebra danios(using for cycling). They were also sick before I found them. I assume they died and then were pulled on.

Wow 110 on 5 gal. Surprised it fit and didn't make the tank unstable.

Still wow . Close fit. Put books or something under the bottom? Thats what I did when I had to empty the 75. I ran the filter on a plastic tub and put books under the bottom of the filter, so it wouldn't bend the plastic.

Aother thing I've learned related to AC's: AC70's don't fit on at least some 75 gal aquarums. I tried to seed one by placing it on my 75, but the rim was too big and pushed the intake out of place. Also held it up high enough that it poured water onto the glass lid. Works fine on my 20 gal though.

going to sound wierd but my snail had done the same thing. i removed his body and put him back in the tank for decoration 4 months later he is moving around again took forever to grow his eyes back it was just a little foot moving around now it looks almost normal. and had babies i have little snails everywhere. the only thing that makes him looked messed up is the new shell you can clearly tell when he died and when he came back. shell is lighter and thinner.
