simple, if I was thinking of getting a whisper I would have asked.
that one was about 3yo. came with a tank from a friend. I still use it as cave for my breeding brichardi.

True, but you never listed the filters that you would absoloutly not buy. It lasted 3 years, and that is pretty good for a filter that is about $10. Yes, you pay $20+ for Penguins and ACs, but you still get about the same life from them.
