Knowing Top Fin Fin Filters...it'll probably break down in a year. Go with the AC50

I got one and its great for mechanical. Nothing else though

Every Top Fin filters that I've had has never lasted me more that a year. Maybe they're for advance hobbyists who can manage them properly

They prefer more acidic conditions than most hobbyists can provide.

exactly. No bio capability but it also has very little bypass. And you can fill the bags with pillow batting for a clean mechanical filter Or just swap them out altogether for ac110 sponges
