I was just thinking today about making a overflow for my 125. I have a old AC500 that i don't have a motor for and thought i could use it for a overflow. I would just attach pvc pipe where the motor went and that would than go down into my wet/dry. It should attach with out a problem. I also thought of drilling a small hole to put an anti-shipon on the back corner of the intake pipe, right behind the little part that sticks up so you can move the pipe to the side to prime i filter. I am not sure about all this and if it would even work. But it can hurt to try. Let me know what you think. I am going to try it this weekend because i want to be home to monitor it so if i have any problems i can try to fix them.

How are you going to get it to sit below water level? Not saying it cant be done but simply pointing out that the way of attaching it to the side of the tank other than for which it was intended will be neded

It would hang on the back just like it does normally. I don't have a pump for it so i would attach a pvc pipe in the place of the pump, which would run down to a wet/dry and than would be filtered and pump back up in to the tank.
