HEY ALL ~ We swept the Pike Class!+ ! !!*
1st- Red Tapajos male (12")
2nd- Red Atabapo lugubris sp. male (12")
3rd- "red cheek' lugubris male (10.5")
The red tapajos male also won Best of Division A . . (first time for a Pike!)
++ almost won best of Show!!! Fourth year in a row we've won 1st in Class 4 with our Pikes, what an honor ! ! !

All in all we came home with 18 trophies ~ my wife swept 3 other Classes, won the new Tank Buster award + People's Choice for the 4th year. Really proud our show fish did so well! Convention was a lot of fun, great speakers, nice BABE auction. A little smaller than usual - but a great hospitality room~ with it's own bar, a balcony + big round tables to sit around! Long 1200 mile drive each way for us, but def worth goin to & all the work.
Hope to see some of you next year in Atlanta****

Congrats man!! I saw some pix of your fish and all I can say is DAMN!!!! You are the pretty pike master!! I really wanted to be there and was planning on it but it just wasnt gonna work with my work schedule, and I didnt want to just go up there for half a day (I work nights). For sure next year, regardless of where its held. At the rate Im going in the hobby I might even be your competition.....Look forward to meeting you in the future.
 
Congrats on the wins. Way to do it big for the Pike lovers out there. Post some pics up of the winning pikes if you will.

this is BS. It's bad enough that he has about 20 perfect and cool pikes and I have none...but now he is taking his sweet time to give me some visual gratification. Did I mention that I was an amateur boxer Mt. Pike!!!
