  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Glad to hear you did good. I figured you would be making more waves this year.

Make WAVES - - luv it! OK you guys ~ didn't get many pics- too busy! Go to: picasweb.google.com/jeremybolanos/ACA convention . . . ~ also 2 threads on *********** - Forum Topics - ACA 2007 ! Will post ACA show fish list (address) when avail. - am not the best pic-taker.... As for you other guys~ YES WE CAN SAY WE WON BIG !!!!! don't need proof other than goin there & doin it ! ~ more than other wannabe's. . . . . Someone's a stone-cutter-boxer? I'm impressed - my Dad was Golden Gloves for a while.
Brought home 5 new (to us) Pikes ~ currently 25 species - - not 20 total!!!
Thanks for the congrats guys ~ we really love raising all kinds of Central/South American fish - hopefully Show Quality! Wish we had more time to post pics and share with all you, I'll try to this Fall ~ LATER ! ! ! ! !

Mountain-thanks for the links. Is the second pic the same male tapajos you enetered last year-or a different fish?

CONGRATS GUYS! Tell Dan I'm seriously disappointed I wasn't able to make it and hang out with you guys some more!! Why didn't you take any female pikes though? They could have helped win a lot more stuff!! Thats crazy kewl though!! Did you get to see Vinny and the like? Curious about the other five pikes you took back with you....any hints? Glad you guys had such a great time! Call me this weekend and get me updated on all the latest! :D

TAZ ~ thx for posting some ACA pix! Our big winner - the red tapajos male went to Chicago last year but didn't show well... We almost didn't take him to Sacramento ~ just goes to show never give up on your fish! We were going to take our female lent but took big red instead. <She got sick while we were gone & died yesterday>. Ron G's red tapajos took 2nd in class last year. The 3rd pic (post #17) is our female cobra, her male companion won
1st last year - thought we'd give her a chance! She displayed well & swam around but had drab color at the show... Our male 'red-cheek' lugubris sp. won 3rd ~ he's an interesting Pike ~ we have high hopes for him in the future.
Didn't bring our 13"+ female marmorata (due to minor HITH) - she's incredible!
Oliver Lucanus told us there's a multi-vitamin treatment that can cure HITH - will post when we get details... (His talk was great! -funny guy) There's hope for anyone who has "pitted" pikes (atabapo 'fires', etc.) Thx for the cudos Jer ~ we brought back some regani, notos, gauchos, 4 undescribed Colombian creni's (Vinny said they're not johannas or venez.). Even a pair of teleocichla (mini-pikes) we put in with some Apistos.
