I just wanted to show some of the auction... I forgot my camera, so these aren't taken by me. They were posted by Eric at our AAAA forum. NOTE it is very hard to realize just how many fish there were... The ceiling was what 30 ft tall? so really that is likely ~3000 bags of fish.
So quoting Eric:
Well I got there at 8am this morning so of course we were just preparing tables etc.:
And the room where the fish were going to be was just starting to get some dry goods in it:
But it was packed with fish pretty fast:
And the auction was going well:
This is what the fish room looked like at 4:15pm, right before I left: almost empty!
Back to me, Kevin. As of 5pm when I went home there were still a little over 100 bags of fish. The 10s were going for 6 bucks and the 20s for 12, filters were oversold since they were selling them at two places.... I don't know when things fully wrapped up. When I got home I sort of fell on my bed and woke up 4 hours later.
