Not a word on the ACA so far this year and it ends tomorrow. Is the ACA in decline or is MFK?

If anyone is at the ACA I'd love to see PHOTOS. I look forward to them every year.

Ditto here.

I usually post photos, but I haven't been able to make it the last couple of years. Sad, as it is only 1.5 hours from here.

MFK is still a sponsor of the ACA conventions. I just don't think Li made it out there this year to take the bazillian photos like normal.

They have an invite-only Facebook page called "ACA Convention" and people have been posting pictures and videos there all weekend.

Dang its kinda sad I've been wanting to see some of us having a good time

Most of them stay away now I notice most stay to there local cichlid sites as the maturity level here has drop drastically I just got back into keeping rare cichlids again this past 6 months been breeding rays and keeping other fish and notice the difference right away

Sadly there is truth to this. A lot of the knowledgeable hobbiest have gotten sick of the drama that unfolds on here. There are several members that ruin every thread that gets posted and it's just not worth the hassle. I myself don't hardly post anymore since there is nothing really engaging going on in the cichlid section and what few threads that do pop up the get ruined by the trollers. Mfk has become too divided. Strong opinions also come across as judgmental to some if if they aren't meant to come across that way.

Once I added a bunch of those people to my ignore list, MFK became a lot more tolerable. ;) It sure cut down on the number of people I see posts by though. lol
