My favorite moment of the ACA Convention: Siena getting an award for winning the Kids Decorating Contest!

Beautyfull! Lovely baby girl!

The joy of seeing them flowing into the hobby and of their companionship! I miss those moments! Cherish them, Matt :)

Hope to see you in Boston next year, Duane!

Matt

I've been an ACA member for over 20 years, and the only reason I didn't go this year, was because of my work schedule. I agree the ACA and other organizations like it are much different than simple forums of FB groups.
While having a good time doing it, conservation, and scientific research have been primary objectives, and go far beyond simply keeping fish as furniture or mini, aggressive, exotic pets.

Hope to be there too, I've been to 2 in Chicago and 1 in Milwaukee so far.
My work schedule is usually what stops me, I almost always work weekends
Congrats to Siena.

Thanks for the report Matt, and congrats to your little angel Siena!

You can't compare ACA with cichlid forums. ACA is a true non-profit hobby club and each year it brings together world class bowl show and speakers like Ad Konnings, Juen Miguel, Paul Loiselle and Rusty Wessel, plus many other activities you don't find in local clubs. Just a visit to Rusty's fish house this year is worth the attendence.
