Things start on Wed July 11...and go through Sunday (all day auction).
People - hobbyists and vendors - sell fish out of their rooms...and out of tanks in a for sale room.
There are usually a couple of auctions: the all day one on Sunday and rare fish one (with proceeds going to the ACA's conservation funds) on Friday night.
Prices and selection of fish will be much better than any LFS I've ever been to. It's quite and event...and much more than trying to score cheap fish. The world's foremost experts on the fish you keep will be there, giving presentations and hanging out with (fellow) hobbyists.
My recommendation: Go Friday AM and leave after the auction on Sunday. You won't be disappointed.
