Acceptable/Unusual Ray Tankmates

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It all depends on the fishes personality. For some, some have worked and for others some haven't. Seems like you have plenty of tanks to be able to safely go through trial and error with sucsses. I would be careful with the retic while its small though.

Edit: As far as combos that dont usually work Ive kept a huge FH and GT with my rays with sucsses.

Yea, I noticed that nice GT in your pics! I'm hoping to hear more of these combos.

I would go to the 180 as soon as you are able, it is a lot easier to keep a ray in a bigger tank as the water volume gives more stability due to the volume against the bio load.

I would avoid tank mates in a 90 for the same reason as above, the more fish, the more probes you will run in to.

Even ray with ray will aso clash sumtimes, so it's pretty much the fishes' personality and luck. Of course, higher chance will be with those docile & less aggressive species ;)
