accidental breeding

aaahhh...thanks everyone.imo a fh without a kok is still an amazing fish. i do plan to raise them all to see what they turn out to be. i could post pics now but they are less than a 1/4" so you cant really tell anything by looking at them just yet. i do like the idea of keeping the pearliest females to breed with a nice fh male....i just happen to have a very nice zz double red dragon male to breed with. i know...why didnt i just breed the fh to begin with? i tried and the male nearly killed the female and thats the reason she was in another tank. well i feed them plenty so they should grow fast, when they get bigger i will post pics.
 
yes, you should do water changes to premote growth in the fry.

Not knowing how much bio load your tank has, you should check your nitrates and figure out a water changing schedule from that.
If you want the best growth and keep your fish in prestine condition, the general rule is keeping your nitrates below 20ppm.

congrats on the fry! I agree that you should continue with the water changes, more aften than you do now. also buy some panty hose and stretch a piece over the end of the siphon and secure it with a rubber band...this wasy you wont suck up any of the fry.
 
I've noticed differences in the fry...lots have black spots near the head and a stripe down the side to the tail, while the rest are plain. The only digital cam I have is my phone and nice as it may be it just isnt good enough for this kind of thing.
 
I hardly did any water change for my baby jags till they got bigger and mine grew out fine i ended up with like 1000 of them.
