TY for all of the responses(and not treating me like an idiot like some other forum sites have done in the past). The catfish/pleco, I haven't been sure of what species. He was given to me by a coworker who had a freshwater tank that started to fall apart and she kept calling him a cory and then later referred to him as a pleco.
As for the 'baby bichir'? I looked up the loach you all mentioned and he does look 100% like one. We've never bought a loach ourselves, and never bought presubmerged décor, BUT there is a possibility that years ago when the coworker gave us the catfish and a few other fish and items, he might've been one of hers that she had no idea existed and we had no idea existed. That makes a lot more sense and I appreciate the help.
